Sugarloaf Rock Western Australia

Located about a three-hour drive south of Perth, Sugarloaf Rock is a large rock formation off the coast near Dunsborough Western Australia. It is a must-see for sunset as this image illustrates. The soft golden color just amplifies ‘Mother Natures’ stunningly beautiful coastline. I absolutely love exploring this place. Although we did not see any, we have been told that during whale season you can sometimes view whales. There are lots of rocks and rock pools, and the views are amazing. The viewing platform is easily accessible from the parking lot and has a great look. You can also walk down the steep and sandy path to the bottom for a better vantage point.
