Swamp waters with dead trees created by Beavers in Autumn Haliburton, Ontario, Canada
The solitude and tranquility of the Haliburton region make it one of my favorite places in Ontario to photograph. The swamp image is only minutes away from our cottage and we pass this spot on many occasions. On this particular morning, my wife and I had planned to do a hike in Algonquin park but there was a very thick fog that morning which was quite unusual for early November in Canada. We were actually on our way back to Toronto when the fog started to burn off quite rapidly and the light was changing by the minute.
