Great Grey Owl eyes
This owl shot was taken in January just outside of Ottawa, Canada 2017. I spent 2 days finding the beautiful bird and as habit dictates he stayed in the same field for the next 3 days.
Each time the great grey owl swoops down and catches his prey (field mice) he pauses and looks around before eating. This is when I was able to capture this fantastic image. The photograph was taken with a Nikon D5, 500mm lens and1.4x multiplier. The lens is huge 🙂
