Cuba is just simply a photographers paradise
My wife and I spent 11 days in Havana and Trinidad Cuba and we walked and photographed from morning till night. Mary Louise shoots as well which makes adventuring together to exotic locals fantastic.
I FEEL Cuba in this image
This shot was just one of that random spur-of-the-moment action shots. The classic American car taxi passed us on the tight streets of Old Havana, and I just turned and took a couple of quick snaps.
The image was not planned and is not perfect (technically) in any stretch of the imagination. The sun flare overexposed the top portion of the image, and the image is not horizontal. I left it ‘off-balance’ to keep the woman against the wall in the frame. Yet it’s one of my favorite images from the trip.
What we actually have here is an ‘S’ curve. The viewer’s eyes start with the station wagon, is drawn to the woman against the wall and then back to the taxi and down the street.
