Trinidad is a colonial gem! Just strolling around the colorful streets of Trinidad, Cuba and finding unique subjects to photograph, is what visiting this colonial gem is all about. I like to spend some time escaping the tourist areas and strolling the lived-in back streets. One fantastic experience is that my wife and I purchased local bus tickets and traveled coach from Havana to Cuba. A grueling 8-hour bus ride in a vehicle that is well past its prime, but it was an authentic Cuban experience. Whenever possible, I love to immerse myself into the local culture, which also elevates the quality of my photographs.
