I am not sure if you would consider this image of a young Indian girl street photography or simply a portrait. Well, it was shot on the streets of a small fishing village in Southern India, but the lighting was absolutely perfect. It was near sunset and the warmth of the light gave every photograph that extra appeal. This young Indian girl wanted to be photographed, so I simply placed her on the window sill where the light and shadow was just marvelous. Annie Leibowitz, one of the greatest portrait photographers of our time, would be proud of this shot.
