The New York City skyline with the New Yorker Hotel and Empire State Building prominently visible in this gritty black and white photograph. If anything can be unique from a New Yorker’s perspective, this image was shot at night from the water at extremely high ISO. The extreme ISO adds quite a bit of grain, which in this case, with the subdued lighting, gives the image the drama I seek in my photographs.
