Sierra Nevada Mountains Sunset with Full Moon
The Sierra Nevada Mountains range is in California. Home to native Americans, the photograph gives one the feel of the impressive grandeur of the Sierra Nevadas’. John Muir, a wilderness prophet and founder of the Sierra Club, was the first visitor to write about the beautiful aesthetic qualities of these mountains. He bestowed the nickname ‘the Range of Light’ on the mountain terrain. As we see in the photograph, wonder hues of color dance over the elegant mountains near dusk. The American Southwest is one of my favorite regions for landscape photography.
