Spider Rock Canyon de Chelly


Some people refer to Canyon de Chelly is a miniature version of the Grand Canyon. It’s one of three canyons in the northeastern Arizona: de Chelly, del Muerto, and Monument.   Canyon de Chelly and Spider rock formation is located within the Navajo Nation boundaries. The canyons features were shaped and carved out by streams and wind. The most renowned of which is Spider Rock photographed here. Spider Rock Canyon de Chelly is an impressive 800 foot sandstone tower. The tower is similar to Totem Pole Rock in Monument Valley.
