Tree in Rock Utah

187

Creative composition of a tree growing out of the rocks in Zion National Park Utah.  Although the image is fairly simple with the silhouette against the moon backdrop, I am drawn to this image repeatedly simply because of the gesture of the tree.  The shape and form of the tree trunk appear to be struggling for life, but the pine needles tell a different story.  The image is a metaphor of the struggles of life.
